This species of mussels are naturally prevalent from Alaska to Washington, preferring pristine bays where snow melt keeps the salinity lower than the open ocean.

Farmed in Penn Cove since 1975, we think that you will find, as others have, that they are the sweetest and best tasting mussels you've ever had.

Penn Cove Mussels are mild in texture and full of sweet flavor and they are grown to a market size of 2.5 to 3 inches in approximately one year's time.

They are harvested fresh from the farm Sundays thru Thursdays and shipped Mondays thru Fridays. So, whether you are across town, the country or the ocean, we can always get the sweetest and best tasting mussel you have ever tased fresh to you.
