For a classic Whidbey hike, the Bluff Loop Trail delivers stunning views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Port Townsend, and the Olympic Mountains. This moderate 3.5-mile route combines beach and bluff walking, with dramatic vantage points that make it one of the island’s most beloved trails.
Looking for something gentler? Try the Pratt Loop Trail and Kettle Spur, an easy walk through the scenic Pratt Preserve that connects to the larger Kettles Recreation Trails network, over 30 miles of paths for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Or enjoy the Ebey’s Prairie Ridge Trail, a peaceful stroll between active farm fields with sweeping views of Admiralty Inlet and the Olympics.
Whether you’re chasing fall colors, coastal sunsets, or a quiet walk through history, Ebey’s Landing offers some of the most unforgettable autumn hiking on Whidbey Island.
